Making Circus Accessible
At CircusWest, we believe that the joy, creativity, and personal growth found through circus arts should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer in-house scholarships and bursaries to support students, artists, and families who may not otherwise be able to afford circus training. Through the generosity of our community and dedicated supporters, we strive to break down financial barriers and ensure that more young people can experience the transformative power of circus.
One of our most impactful initiatives is the Renee Withers Scholarship, dedicated to providing enriched support and exposure to the performing arts. Inspired by Renee’s own journey, this scholarship empowers youth from vulnerable communities or those in financial need, allowing them to develop skills, build confidence, and find their own superpower through circus. Recipients may receive partial or full tuition coverage for a program or camp that best suits their skill level and availability. While not every applicant will receive a scholarship, those selected will embark on an exciting and supportive circus journey.

Circus West is a non-profit organization dedicated
to delivering memorable experiences to students
and circus lovers of all ages.
The staff and students of Circus West work and play on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Sto:lo, Stz'uminus, Qayqayt and Squamish Nations. We are grateful for this land and the ongoing stewardship of it by these nations.
