Whether you're enrolling your child in circus classes for the first time or you're a returning family looking to get more involved, this guide is here to help. We've compiled answers to common questions and outlined everything you need to know about our programs, policies, and performances.

WHERE:
Garden Auditorium, 2901 East Hastings St, on the PNE grounds.
• Driving? Enter through Gate 2 from Renfrew Street.
• We're next to the Admin Building and across from the Forum.
• Parking is available on site.
DOCUMENTS:
To participate, students must submit a signed Student Code of Conduct and an Acknowledgement of Risk form each year (Sept 1 – Aug 31).
• One form per student.• Parents/guardians must sign for those under 18.
• Students aged 10+ must also sign.
• No student will be allowed to participate without completed forms.
• If you can't submit online, send a hard copy with your child on the first day.
• Clothing should be comfortable and form-fitting.
DRESS CODE:
• Bodysuit & tights, or t-shirt (tucked in) and sweatpants/leggings (covering knees).
• No metal/plastic buttons, zippers, or snaps.
• Closed-toe, secure shoes for unicycle (no clogs/flip-flops).
• No jewelry/watches (small stud earrings okay).
• Hair tied back.
WHAT TO BRING:
• Water (no glass containers)
• Snack/lunch/dinner as applicable (Camps: 1 lunch + 2 snacks)
PERFORMANCES:
Pre-Performance (Lions, Tigers, Ringmaster & Centre Ring):
• Winter Walkabout: informal sharing on the final class before the December break.• Final performance held on the last class in June.
Performance Stream (Ensemble, Apprentice & Performance):
• Participate in Spooktacular, Winter events & community performances.
• May show: Ensemble performs preshow, Apprentice & Performance are cast.
Camps:
• Most camps end with a Friday afternoon showcase (if longer than 3 days).
PROGRAM FEES:
Membership Fee:
• Annual fee (Sept 1 – Aug 31). One per family.
Student Insurance Fee:
• Annual per-student fee. (Current rate: $42. Subject to change.)
Tuition & Volunteer Fees:
• Payment by Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash, or cheque.
• Tuition can be paid in full or in 10 monthly installments (Oct–June).
• September tuition due at registration.
• Tuition is prorated if joining late.
• 10% discount for additional children (applies to lower-cost program).
Volunteer Deposit:
• Required for Ringmasters to Performance programs.
• Refundable upon completion of volunteer hours.
• Families with multiple children pay a reduced fee per additional child.
LATE FEES:
• $25 for returned cheques.
• $25 late fee + 2% monthly interest on overdue accounts.
DISCOUNTS:
• 10% discount for each additional child in the program (lower fee applies).
CANCELLATIONS:
• Classes require minimum enrolment.
• Notification and full refund or transfer offered if cancelled.
• No refunds for force majeure/weather closures.
WITHDRAWALS & TRANSFERS:
• Two weeks written notice required.
• Tuition adjusted based on classes remaining.
• Use online Withdrawal/Transfer form.Camps:
• Fully refundable up to 30 days before start.
• Transfers allowed up to 30 days prior if space allows.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
• Volunteer needs vary year-round; spring is especially busy.
• Complete the online Volunteer Form to get involved.Volunteer Fee by Program:
• Ringmasters, Centre Ring, Ensemble: $200 (20 hrs)
• Apprentice: $250 (25 hrs)
• Performance: $300 (30 hrs)Multiple Children:
• $5 or 5 hours for each additional child.Tracking:
• Record hours in the front desk binder or tracking sheet.
• Submit refund form by August 15 to reclaim fees.
HOLIDAY CLOSURES:
• Closed on statutory holiday dates.
• Closed for Winter Break (per VSB calendar).
• Spring Break: Regular programs run Week 1; only camp runs Week 2.
